Last updated: January 22, 2026

Refund Policy

This policy applies to business customers only. TrustPath is a B2B platform and does not offer services to individual consumers.

At TrustPath, all sales are final and we do not offer refunds for our services or subscriptions.

No Refund Policy

  1. All purchases of TrustPath UG (haftungsbeschränkt) services, including but not limited to subscriptions and one-time services, are non-refundable.

  2. By making a purchase, you acknowledge and agree that:

    • The sale is final
    • No refunds will be issued
    • No exceptions will be made to this policy

Cancellations

While refunds are not available, you may cancel your subscription at any time:

  • Your service will continue until the end of your current billing period
  • No partial refunds will be issued for unused portions of service
  • You will not be charged for future billing periods after cancellation

Exceptions

While we maintain a no-refund policy, we may issue refunds at our sole discretion in the following circumstances:

  1. Billing Errors:

    • Duplicate charges for the same billing period
    • Incorrect amounts charged due to system errors
    • Charges made in error after subscription cancellation
    • Charges for services not ordered or authorized
    • In such cases, we will refund the incorrectly charged amount within 14 business days of verification
  2. Service Unavailability:

    • Extended service outages that exceed the SLA commitments specified in our Terms of Service (Section 4 - Service Level Agreement)
    • Technical failures that prevent access to core fraud prevention API functionality for significant periods (exceeding SLA downtime allowances)
    • Complete service unavailability for more than 48 consecutive hours (excluding scheduled maintenance)
    • In such cases, refunds may be provided on a pro-rata basis for the affected service period, or as service credits as specified in our SLA (Section 4.4)
  3. Material Breach by TrustPath:

    • TrustPath fails to deliver the core fraud prevention services as specified in the Terms of Service (Section 3)
    • TrustPath materially breaches its obligations under the Data Processing Agreement, resulting in the customer's inability to use the service
    • Critical documented features advertised and purchased are non-functional and cannot be remedied within a reasonable timeframe (30 days) after notification
    • Refunds in these cases will be determined based on the severity and duration of the breach
  4. Regulatory or Legal Requirements:

    • Where refunds are required by applicable law
    • Where refunds are ordered by a court or regulatory authority
    • Where continuing to charge would violate applicable consumer protection or B2B regulations
  5. Early Termination by TrustPath:

    • If TrustPath terminates the service relationship for reasons not attributable to customer breach
    • If TrustPath discontinues the service entirely
    • In such cases, pro-rata refunds for unused pre-paid periods may be provided

Refund Request Process: To request a refund under any of these exceptions, customers must:

  1. Submit a written request via our contact page within 30 days of the charge or incident
  2. Provide detailed documentation of the issue (e.g., error logs, timestamps, billing statements)
  3. Allow TrustPath reasonable time (up to 14 business days) to investigate the claim
  4. Cooperate with TrustPath's investigation and provide requested information

Limitations:

  • Refunds will not be provided for services already rendered, even if the customer is dissatisfied with results (e.g., fraud scores, risk assessments)
  • Refunds will not be provided for customer error, including misconfiguration, misuse of the service, or failure to properly integrate the API
  • Refunds will not be provided for third-party service failures outside TrustPath's control
  • Partial refunds for unused portions of subscription periods are not provided except as specified above

Any such refunds are provided on a case-by-case basis at TrustPath's sole discretion following evaluation of the specific circumstances, and do not constitute a waiver of our general no-refund policy. The decision to grant or deny a refund request is final.
